LOS CORREDOR - MOBIL
A mountainous landscape and a lack of railways have made Colombia a country of truckers. They spend days on the road, far from their families, so we wanted to bring them closer to what they miss the most: gathering with their loved ones to watch traditional Colombian "novelas". But instead of any typical show, we created a fun story inspired by their own lifestyle.
Of course, they can’t stop to watch TV, so for the first time ever, we made a series designed to be watched in 3-minute episodes on WhatsApp.
Before Netflix, before streaming, there was a show that Colombian truckers requested, downloaded, and watched on WhatsApp. (They even messaged asking for more episodes, so we had to make a second season)
That’s how Mobil built the largest database and community of truckers in the country.
